Problems in the heating fit of the bearing
By heating the bearing or the NSK bearing seat, thermal expansion is used to transform the tight fit into a loose fit installation method. It is a common and labor-saving installation method. This method is suitable for the installation of bearings with large interference. Put the bearing or the ring of the separable bearing into the oil tank and heat it evenly at 80-100°C, then remove it from the oil and install it on the shaft as soon as possible. To prevent the end face of the inner ring and the shaft shoulder from not fitting tightly after cooling, the bearing can be axially tightened after cooling. When the outer ring of the bearing is tightly fitted with the light metal bearing seat, the hot-fitting method of heating the bearing seat can be used to avoid scratches on the mating surface.
When heating the bearing with an oil tank, there should be a grid at a certain distance from the bottom of the box. The bearing should be hung with a hook. The bearing cannot be placed on the bottom of the box to prevent sinking impurities from entering the bearing or uneven heating. A thermometer must be installed in the oil tank. Control the oil temperature not to exceed 100°C to prevent the occurrence of tempering effects and reduce the hardness of the ferrule.
Thrust bearing installation
The fit of the thrust bearing and the shaft is generally a transition fit, and the fit between the race and the housing hole is generally a clearance fit. Therefore, this kind of bearing is easier to install. The central shaft spring of the two-way thrust bearing should be fixed on the shaft to prevent relative The shaft rotates.
Generally speaking, the installation method of the bearing is that the shaft rotates. Therefore, the fit between the inner ring and the shaft is an interference fit, and the fit between the outer ring of the bearing and the bearing chamber is a clearance fit.
Bearing operation check
After the bearing is installed, check it to ensure that the bearing is installed in place, rotates flexibly, and has no seizure. If the bearing is installed improperly, the temperature of the bearing will rise rapidly and be damaged, or even major accidents such as bearing seizure and fracture will occur.
Use and storage of bearings
(1) When using the bearing, keep the surrounding environment clean and don't stick to hand sweat and dirt. It is stipulated to be used by personnel familiar with bearings, and special care should be taken of injuries, indentations, and defects. In order to ensure the performance of the bearings, the bearings should be maintained, maintained and overhauled regularly according to the operating standards of the equipment, including monitoring the operating status, replenishing lubricants, and regular disassembly inspections.
(2) Bearings must not be stored directly on the ground (above 30cm above the ground), avoid direct sunlight and cold walls. In order to prevent rust, keep it in an environment with a temperature of about 20°C and a humidity of 65% or less. The bearing is placed in acid air, which is easy to rust and change color. Use gloves and kapok silk to wipe the bearing, shaft, and housing. Garbage enters the bearing. The internal and cooperating parts are the cause of the abnormality, so be careful.
